  • Planning on going to the Green-White game on saturday.  Haven't heard much about it.  Just curious how much the starters will play?  Anyone have any info on how the format for the game will be, and how much the starters will play compared to the rest of the team.  I understand that coaches are still evaluating each position.  Thanks for any info.

As you know, with Doc, it does not resemble a game. Just another scrimmage. Every Saturday during the spring they scrimmage. Only difference in this one is, it costs $5 and there is tailgating. Of course season ticket holders get a free ticket.

  • Supposed to be a nice day.  Should be worth the time to get with some friends and get some kind of look at the QB's and the rest of the team.  Doesn't seem like they put much emphasis on the scrimmage last weekend....so maybe we will see a bit more with the one saturday.

I was at the one 2 weeks ago. Both QB's looked good as did Knox and Anderson at RB

  • Never found the situational "scrimmages" to be very entertaining. More like a Chinese fire drill. LOL!

Looking forward to hearing Reggie at the fountain ceremony. Better get there early!

Brenden Knox. RS Freshman RB. I believe he is our future number 1a/b with King.

  • Knox is having a good spring. As Hoppy mentioned, he’s a good looking young RB out of Columbus.

Herdzone lists him at 6’ 216-pound RB/ 4.5 forty. Good size and speed.

Its not very entertaining, as far as it goes. I hate the format, but you can catch a small glimpse of talent. Its more of an excuse to hang out with friends go to the ceremony, and have a good time around football. If you are going for the "game" itself, you will probably be disappointed.
