    • I don't really follow the NBA for a variety of reasons, especially after the demise of my beloved Seattle Supersonics LOL.

    But I thought Mike coached Melo as NY Knick. If anyone should know what CA brings to the table it should be Mike D.

    • I would say that Mike has the support from ownership & GM.  Not the same in NY.

    I hope it works, because I want Mike to win an NBA Championship. I don't think Carmelo would be going to Houston, if he didn't feel like they couldn't win a Championship. D'Antoni wouldn't have signed Anthony, if they had the friction like they had in N.Y.

    • Yes Mike and Anthony didn't really get along in NY from what I have read.  Unfortunately Melo has not really been very good as a role player and it's not like he is a stellar defensive guy.  Who knows what Mike is thinking....Houston has basically a 2nd team where most of the guys play together and that might fit well for CA.  Houston was in mix for CA before he signed with OKC. On surface, it doesn't look like a good deal to me but Mike seems to know what he is doing:)

    Probably.  Although it is also true that NBA folks make bad roster decisions at times.
