  • This is the best thread ever....the tongue in cheek Frank's barber sharp was meant to be funny not serious...it shows how high strung some people are....

Yes the basketball people get defensive but that's ok. To me it just shows how passionate they are about the direction of the program. I love the practice reports and hope they keep coming. Wish I had the time to go to some of the practices.

That's not true. I know HM has chair back season tickets. Heck I have and have had for years football season tickets but I'm definitely more of a basketball guy than I am a football guy right now. This is first year I have ever bought season tickets for basketball. None of us go out of our way to criticize football, are you kidding me? Someone would have to go out of their way to try and put a positive spin on football right now.

No it hasn't. We scrimmaged the equivalent 1-AA football (the next division below us) when we scrimmaged the D2 teams. Our first 4 games have been against the football equivalent of other G5 members. Also, Hofstra is good. That's going to end up being a good win by end of the season.

  • Why? He has nothing to hide.

With all the games on TV , internet and all the other ways to watch sports these days , I would guess its pretty easy to find out what your next opponent is doing. I figure its not like it was a decade or so ago.

  • Dan has made basketball incredibly fun and entertaining. Going to the tournament brought a ton of enjoyment to a lot of Herd alums/fans.

Most exciting thing to happen to MU Athletics in decades. That is why basketball is so great and has much more potential than football. We can even stub our toes some this season and still have a shot of having a blast at the end of the season.

Danny has said many times “we do what we do”. He doesnt care if the opposing head coach comes to practice. He doesnt hide anything.

  • Premium board is a great idea . For $12 , it cant be beat .

Actually, I usually don't mention as much inside type stuff here as I do on the premium board. For something like $1 a month it is a steal.
