  • This was brought up but I didn’t see an answer. What happened to the NFL Network?

  • Something to keep an eye on is if ESPN continues to snatch up C-USA games for their linear channels.

Will Marshall suffer from being the most popular choice by C-USA tier 1 and 2 TV partners (CBSSN & Stadium)? That don't have as wide of distribution.

Yes I would think so, but I’m not complaining. Also, couldn’t ESPN choose to pick the Marshall/Rice game in the 12 day window?  How many more years do we have left on this media deal?

IIRC, the NFLN was last on the pecking order in terms of choosing games, which meant a MU vs. WKU game for 1st in the east would be on FB presented by Stadium while the riviting Rice @ UTEP would be on NFLN. So it's likely that the NFLN doesn't presently have a game available at this moment.

    Yes they could.

2 more years after this season. So a new deal should be negotiated some time in 2021.
