I’m thrilled with how wells looked all I’m saying is be cautiously optimistic. EKU was a great first warm up game for him but the competition level will get better   Hopefully he continue to show what he did today

I said if he's the guy and a true QB then missing spring practice won't matter.  I was told that was the dumbest thing anybody had said.  If the guy has "it" then he's gonna be a player n any situation.  And apparently they are both very gifted.  No jitters, solid targeted throws at any distance, and amazing field presence and awareness.  All qualities we've not seen in some time.  Granted we will face much better competition, but the tools are there.  Very few teams would beat us the way we played today, imo.  Flawless victory.
