A very poignant article on the plane crash that killed a number of the Wichita State football team as they traveled to Utah State on October 2, 1970.  The video is very moving as well.

I remember that the Marshall cheerleaders and others were at the following weeks Marshall game collecting money to send to Wichita State. Then 2 weeks later an even worse tragedy hit our beloved Herd
