  • I don't think Pokey is saying that the email said they didn't care about his money but their actions demonstrated that they didn't care about his money.
"Our founding fathers ... drafted a charter to assure the rule of law and the rights of man, a charter expanded by the blood of generations.  Those ideals still light the world, and we will not give them up for expediency's sake." - Barack Obama Inaugural Address

  • has to be larger than an academic departments budget by hundreds of thousands of dollars and the CJ program, when I was a grad assistant for them, sent out news letters, brochures, updates to every single former CJ major (It took me about fifteen hours to lick all of those stamps).  So if a department can afford it (and the CJ department had absolutly no money, tis was their grand scheme to bring money in) why not the university or the AD?

With the expansion of the internet into most of our daily lives, why not start some type of campaign to get messages out through e-mail?  Updates, pictures of the new construction, hyper links to donate.  How expensive would that be? (I truly don't know because I know very little about that type of project).
"If we lose one more game," said Bernard Morris, "we might as well hang it up."
