  • And then punched in the gut.  My father who took me to MU games as a child and continued to sit beside me for decades of Herd football passed earlier this year.  When this team started off so well I could only think how much he would have enjoyed this season.

With the Covid mess and then losing my dad after a long illness (not covid related) MU football was a bright spot in a very difficult year for me.

The way the season ended feels worse to me than the 3-9 season.  No way you lose at home ranked and follow that up with a chance to win the conference and lay an egg.  I said before the season if we don’t win a championship Doc should not come back for another season and that is what needs to happen.

Opt out of bow game, go find a new coach to get the fans back.  I will never stop following and going to games but I want my other Herd brethren back with me.  Replacing Doc with someone on the current staff is not an option.

  • Sorry for your loss man. And I think alot of people are in the same boat in terms of our football program. It's past time for a change.

Doc Holliday is the Marvin Lewis of college football.
