  • Doc Holliday teams have a 14-13 record in Nov. and Dec. games.  Against CUSA foes!!  How's that for peaking at the end like the best coaches can have their teams do.  Imagine if we played our pre Covid schedule this year (3-6 wins max).  Things are not good in Herd football land.

  • As I said when we came out hot this year.  If these coaches fail to evolve schemes over the season we will become a stale team and others will catch up.  Failure to evolve a team end cost is player motivation sways due to boredom.  Teams go flat and play uninspired.  The depth chart is no longer hyped because they know they will not play in meaningful moments.  Stuff we saw.  Total regression over the course of the season.

  • Ask yourself this about your stat - what year did the IPF open?

We had a ridiculous record against CUSA teams when the temperature was 40 or less at kickoff. We were undefeated until losing a game to UCF one year. Since the IPF that home advantage in the cold has gone away.

That's right.  Which i asked do we practice outside in the cold in a post?  What was our practice schedule in November?  If your not our in the cold and then suddenly put your team in it good luck.  It's a huge mental adjustment for everyone.  Bob Pruetts teams played well in November and December.  But they played well most of the time.  Our homefield advantage under Holliday and Snyder are nonexistent.  There is none here anymore.
