I noticed neither have updated rosters for 2021 signees

The soccer team is already back and training. They play their first exhibition in about ten days at Rio

Going to Herd soccer at JMU 8/26. Hoping to take members of our granddaughters' teams as well.

First home game for the defending national champions is September 4th at 7pm. Hosting Coastal Carolina. I'll be there!

Anybody else planning to make the trip to the Rio Grande exhibition?

I actually found out there will be at least 2 games going on at the same time... both Rio and Marshall have huge rosters and a JV team, so there will apparently be a side JV game at the same time the Varsity teams are playing.

I planned to travel to the Rio exhibition. Looking forward to seeing the freshmen that coach mentioned who will challenge for playing time along with seeing Jamil?s replacement.

I assume there will be a lot of focus in the 3 preseason matches on improving our finishing in the final third of the field. Outside of the WV Tech match, we scored no more than 2 goals against our other opponents last season. Our success was attributed to our great defense. It would be nice to score more so we have a bigger cushion as each  match progresses.

It would be interesting to also watch the JV play as well. Really looking forward to this season.

We're making the trip as well. I heard about the two games as well. Kinda odd they're playing both at the same time but a good opportunity for our JV guys.
