Topic: Once again, where is everyone staying for the Navy Game

Believe we'll be in town Friday around 6, probably stay through Sunday.  Would like to be around other MU fans if possible. Where do folks recommend, where are others staying?

when in that area I always stay at the Holiday Inn BWI Airport in Linthicum Heights. Then I always have dinner at the G&M Restaurant also in Linthicum Heights. They have the reputation of having the biggest and best crab cakes in the area.

I?d recommend staying out near the stadium. There are some Marriott options we will likely use for this trip.

A few years ago for the bowl game we stayed in DC at the team hotel and took the paid shuttle back and forth. The drive took a bit plus the traffic was a little heavier than anticipated. When relying on any sort of group transport you can?t always travel (and tailgate) on your personal schedule.

 I would recommend staying close to downtown stadium area. It is a wonderful experience. It won't be cheap.

We wound up getting an AirBnB about a mile or two from the stadium.

I've been told by a few people that gameday traffic is a nightmare, so part of me really regrets not just shelling out the money to be within walking distance.

We're still debating whether to bring out whole tailgating setup or not. I still don't have a good read as to what the tailgating scene is like or how difficult it is to find parking in a lot that allows it.

The lots around the stadium are for season pass holder.  Think our West lot. I don?t know about thebb van Germantown elementary lot
I don?t know if any private lots unless Grawls grocery store, I don?t know if they sell spots or not

I recently booked a room for myself and two sons at the Westin Marriott.  It's only 1/2 mile from the stadium which makes parking, etc a non issue, but holy cow it comes at a price.  The Courtyard was booked when I tried (about a week or so ago).

Can't wait to have a weekend trip with just the boys, take in a Herd game, and check out the Naval Academy campus!

Man I wish I could make it to this one but my schedule is just top unpredictable.  Went up for the Military Bowl in 13 and loved everything about it.
