  • I'm very glad this game didn't turn absolutely ugly for us.  We get blown out in this game and I think we have another 2016 on our hands.
"On rainy days, the early justices would enliven case conferences with wine. On other days, even if the sun was shining, Chief Justice John Marshall would order wine anyway, saying, 'Our jurisdiction is so vast that it must be raining somewhere.' "

  • Another positive from tonight is the publicity we received. We needed to have a good game and we did that. I?d say over a million people were watching the game. Most will know who Grant Wells and Rasheed Ali are after tonight. It just sucks we could not come out with the W.

That could be a bad thing considering how easy the transfer rules are becoming.

  • Well after one third of the season down, I'll say that the bottom line goal for this team should now be 9-3 overall, and no worse than 7=1 in CUSA play, with 10-2 rather easily attainable.  Can't see anyone right now at this stage giving us much trouble in the next game, with the possible exception of FAU down in Boca.  Huff has extra days to prepared for MTSU next Saturday.  North Texas on the road doesn't appear to be that formidable.  Charlotte early on hasn't been impressive at all.  Shouldn't have any trouble with home opponents other than UAB.

It really is great, isn't it? Plus getting all the pre-game publicity from SportsCenter.

That kickoff return for a TD is all over the internet right now because the game was on ESPN.
