    No other C-USA team is above 90. We're the #6 G5 team.

The computers have loved us all year. Probably because almost all of our wins were blowouts and all of our losses were by 7 or less.

Interesting that we could be the road team at 12-0 UTSA and essentially be a coin flip in that game. We'd be a 1 point underdog based on the formula these rankings use after accounting for home field.

WVU is 74th and would be an 8 point underdog to us on a neutral field by this formula.

Time to see if we belong where they say we do.

  • It does feel like this team is frustratingly close to being very good, but you are what your record says you are too.  Hopefully a recruiting class and a few transfers can help us take a step forward next year.  Let's still beat WKU and play for a championship!

  • Hopefully all of the rotating along the lines will pay off.  Much better coaching philosophy than playing the same 4-5 all game long.

Totally agree. If Huff can plug holes in the OL because of graduation losses, bring in a good WR and a CB/ safety or two, we can have a great 2022. Excited to see how many verbals we sign, how many get to campus, and how actively he mines the portal for kids. Good stuff.

Don't forget about our kicking game. We need a new punter and field goal kicker that has to be a top priority!

So Huff sneaks past WKU this week, crushes UTSA to take a conference title on our way to the Sun Belt. Then spanks WVU in the Lockheed Martin Bowl game. Only problem is idk if I trust a computer..

  • A lot of positions have needs this recruiting cycle.  Huff may have to hit the juco ranks and transfer portal hard to keep from having a drop off in year 2.
