I'm 30 years old so and have a well paying job, a wife and 3 kids.  I'm not the one that get's on a fan board and asks for help about whether a girl likes me or not.

Ummmm I don't do that either.  You are 30, I'm glad you're married.  I'm not  even close to being that age so why do I care that you have 3 kids, a job, and I don't?

As soon as you offer something up for discussion, other than your man-crush on Donnan, I won't impede it.  But you've offered nothing to discuss on this issue for 2 weeks other than "I want Donnan."

Well if you think I've said nothing other than "I want Donnan" and have read all the posts that I've typed about him, you've got issues.

has Donnan even called? seriously..... if i wanted a job i wouldn't wait for someone to call and beg me to come work.... i'd go ask for it..... as far as the other candidates..... whoever gets the job is who Marcum thinks is the best candidate.color]

By the way,  Marcum didn't call about the MU AD job, he didn't apply.....he was sought out and offered..........it's certainly not fair to say someone wasn't considered because he didn't apply, particularly if that person has made a real effort to let those making the decisions know of their interest..........just at Kayo did when the AD job was available.

There are a number of good, solid candidates for the MU job, I'd just love to see them all interviewed and a level playing field in terms of evaluating what each could bring to the job.........not some "made up for convienence" criterion that are exclusionary only for the sake of eliminating certain candidates so as to save embarassment (embarassment for those making the hire) for not considering them.

Although I enjoyed and apprecieated Donnan's work he did for the Herd's football program, I DON'T  see him leaving a nice comfortable analyst job.  Right now his stress level is lower than it ever was as a football coach!  

However,  Donnan seems to have better resume than any of the listed candidates.  But, I don't see him leaving ESPN for the headaches of coaching :smile:
