  • Lose Saturday at home to Kansas and there will be a lot more Chickeneer fans asking "What has Brown done for us lately?"!

  • I really think WVU will struggle to get 6 wins. If so, Brown will be fired.

  • I'm pretty sure the 'Neers will be firing their coach after the season, so the answer is us.

  • If WVU fires Brown after January 1, 2023 the school would have to pay Brown approximately $17 million to buy out his contract.  Brown's contract runs through 2026.  He signed a 2 year extension in 2021.  His buy out drops $3-4 million every year.

I doubt the Who is willing to gamble that kind of money on a new HC plus the cost of a search and new staff.

What???  Did they sign Hamwreck to a consulting contract prior to that move?

Hell, WVU won't worry about any buyout costs.  They'll get Bray(ing) Jacka$$ Cary and the other major "puppet string pullers" down there in Charleston to give a yank or two and "poof" ole Big Jim Justice in the Statehouse will just cut ole Gordy Gee a blank check!!  Way State "germint" down in the Capital City has ALWAYS operated when it comes to catering to the whims and wishes of the State's "Flags*#p"!!

  • Thinking they'll go either 6-6 or 5-6.

However, if they play running back CJ Donaldson more, they may get more wins.

During the Pitt game, I was surprised they didn't use Donaldson on the notorious 4th and inches.

If I remember correctly, he was getting something like 17 yards per carry up to that point.

I'll never get used to WVU even being in a conference with teams like Kansas. It makes no sense. It's like the P5 version of C-USA.

Too darn bad, puma, that Herd Fans just can't "click their heels 3 times" and permanently send that whole darn outfit up in the Hole, lock, stock and barrel, out to some desolate spot on the Kansas plains!  :)
