  • Welcome Gina to this message board. You are always welcome here.
Coach Donnan is age 60, and is probably not going to become our new head coach. Coach PRUETT is age 62, and has decided to retire. MU hated to lose such great men, but the University is great, and we will be able to appoint a new person to be HC that will, hopefully, take MU, to greater heights.

    GO THUNDERINGHERD!

  • I doubt Coach Pruett will ever come back...so we move on....Bring back Stan Parrish...........He is better choice than Donnan...

  • Disagree with you guys.  I agree with Gina.  Donnan is the best choice as I have argued repeatedly...and Gina and I are just one of many supporters of Donnan's second return. Dshoe is one of those...

Age is not a problem.  We were expecting Pruett to take us into CUSA for a couple seasons, weren't we? So what, that would put him at 64, right?

You guys think Donnan couldn't coach the Herd till he was that age?  Give me a break...you guys probably think like Marcum unfortunately...

    Joe Paterno is 79!!!!!!!!!!!

And NO, I'm not saying Donnan should be here THAT long.

  • I have to agree with Wolfman...Marcum seems to like Kueck!  Also, I believe Marcum would have selected another person by now if it wasn't Kueck.

If it is Kueck, how long does he have to produce or be fired?  I believe he would be on a "shorter-leash" than Jirsa. (IMO) :???:

  • I'll be stunned if its not Kueck. IMO, the "search" os a smokescreen. I hope I'm wrong, but that's the way I, and one close source (to Pruett) sees it.

By the way, Donnan turned down KY because they wouldn't pay him as much as Tubby was making.

  • I would be willing to say about 95% sure that it is Kueck. No source on that.  Just personal opinion.  They are just going through the motions right now.  Unless some insane candidate came about all of a sudden.
