Topic: Herd vs UNCG line

Herd 3.5 point favorites. This game has me a little concerned. 3 straight road games while UNCG has been resting at home for a week after they took #9 Arkansas to the brink. We will have to be ready to play and protect the ball better than the RM game.

UNCG is currently 4-5. They had a close loss at Arkansas and beat Elon the previous game. Their losses include U of Miami; Towson; Hofstra; SF Austin; NC A&T and Arkansas. Wins over UMBC; Montana State; Elon and Johnson & Wales NC ( I wonder if the game was on the Cooking Channel ;))

Any team that goes on the road and leads the #9 team worries me. That tells me they are capible. Plus we have played three days in a week and they have been home resting. Hopefully we play better than Saturday. If not we lose.

This game concerns me as well.  Team will have to be ready and play a good game.  Probably not great,  but good.  I'm not sure we can survive a second half like we have had the last two games.  Hopefully we can.

Line is showing -2 now on most betting platforms. Some people must have some confidence in UNCG. I think this may be a tougher test than some think for the herd. Lots of travel in the last week and probably a tough game to get up for. That being said I think a W is in store.

LOL I hope the size of this place doesn't suck the life outta the HERD! LG

LOL I hope the size of this place doesn't suck the life outta the HERD! LG

The place is huge and use to be the site of the ACC Tourney. No roller rink, but they have held roller derbies ;). At full capacity, the building holds more than 23,000 fans for basketball. UNCG utilizes a variety of configurations for its contests with a minimum capacity of 7,617. The upper level is curtained off most UNCG games and I am sure it will be the same for the MU game.

We will not be playing in a band box and UNCG is 4-5. We should win this game going away.

i didn't think that the last game or two were as poorly played as some people are expressing.  3 game road stretch is a factor but i don't think this team fluctuates as much as some of our recent, past teams.  yes, there have been some stretches that weren't good but we battled through them pretty well.  it looks as if this team's D can produce O and vice versa.  also, it appears we once again (rarely so) have contributors down low, at the perimeter and in between.  maybe they haven't yet experienced true adversity, idk

They've been in Greensboro since yesterday afternoon. They're young men in great shape. I am sure they've gotten rest, food and liquids. I don't expect any hangovers from the travel.

They struggle to score and rebound which should work to our advantage. Take good shots, keep TO's low, and rebound and we should be ok.

Coliseum is not on campus so doubt you see many students there and likely going on break this week. Biggest home crowd they've has is about 1300.

Last 3 games MU has been outscored in second half.  MU has started really well in most games which is always important on road.

I think if we can get this one we will beat Toledo at home Saturday. Then obviously Glenville St. then we have JMU and Appy at home to start the conference and there is a good chance we take those 2 at home. Then to Georgia Southern before coming back home for 3 against CC, S Miss and ODU. I honestly think we could be looking at 18-1. 5 of first 6 conference games at home.

The first found of March Madness will be played there in March.
