  • I know that QB's are the 'glamorous' option that most fans look at, but thinking about our needs, Alabama had 4 offensive lineman enter the portal on exactly the same day (Monday).  Wouldn't some connections for Huff make it a real coup to land one or more of these guys?

Florida State also had a 4-star OT enter the portal today.

Badly need to upgrade at OL, WR and TE

  • We don't have the NIL money for any of those kids. Someone like Brockermeyer is an obvious NIL play. Probably back to Texas. Amari Knight probably stays in the SEC. It's fascinating, you get paid to come in as a freshman, then can get paid to leave and be recruited again.

I'd love to be more positive, but it's pretty clear what is happening with your higher profile transfers. Maybe someone like the Bama RB who is just looking for a chance could go G5 but this is just moving P5 parts

But after 1 transfer move the school taking the 4-4 transfer is on the hook for the scholarship for the players careers until their eligibility has expired even if they quit.   That?s coming

That is needed. It's going to end up like basketball there where you have this glut of kids who end up nowhere. I would not want to have to try to manage a roster like this in its current state.
