  • I didn't follow MU back then and only found this out from a buddy of mine but the parallels between yesterday's bowl game and the 1992 championship is kind of crazy.

    Both games were exactly 30 years apart on December 19th and both involved Marshall going up 28-0 and huge momentum changing comeback attempts by their opponents.

  • That championship game was a tale of two half's. First half we dominated. Second half we held on for our lives.

  • Wow, it is hard to believe that was 30 years ago.  It is also hard to believe that our QB in that game, Michael Payton, is no longer with us.  He was a fantastic player!!!
