  • How many times have we heard Bob Bolen say Danny is a mastermind of designing plays. Well..... FKN show it!

he would have had he remembered to call a time out on either of our last two possessions.  frustrating.

I think that happens whether we have success or not.  We have to be near the end either way.  The thing that is tiresome is the handful of you that only show up after each loss, the good news is we don't have to read alot of this so far as we have alot more wins than losses.  I think DD deserves plenty of criticism and I also like some things he has done.  The time to talk about coaching changes is the end of the year.  See you next loss, hopefully we get it together and it will be awhile.

  • I haven't read the full thread, so I apologize if someone has already mentioned this, but I wonder why Danny stuck with the full court press for so long in the first half?  It was obviously after the first few minutes that it wasn't going to work and that Ga. Southern was far too athletic for us to press.  But for some reason he stuck with it until GS has a sizable lead.

  • ANOTHER ABYSMAL SHOWING FROM THE FREE THROW LINE. Terrible at defensive rebound rate. 258th in the nation to be exact according to KenPom, and probably lower after last night. D'antoni has been awful at EOG and ATO sets/plays since he's been here. I understand not calling a TO the first time down under a minute but they turn it over and then come back down and do the exact same crap.

    NEW YEAR SAME OLD SHcrap.

Best tip-off on how that's going is to listen to the radio broadcast of the HERD games.  Even if you're watching the game on the tube, a computer, etc.  I've found that Steve Cotton's sidekick on the radio broadcast is pretty spot on in assessing our defensive play and he is NOT shy in saying stuff like "the Herd is slowing in rotating back" or "Marshall didn't rotate back on that last play", etc.  Whenever I hear very much of that, I know we're going to have to have a very good offensive game if we have a chance to win, because our opponent is on track to put up a boatload of points on run outs, easy and uncontested shot in the paint, etc., etc.!!

I believe Charlie Hagley was on Greg White's staff.
