Will Baseball Stadium be ready?

    • Some have posted that there is activity at the Baseball Stadium site, but in 2022 our first home game was on March 3 which is less than 8 weeks away from now.

    • One can only imagine that, nearing mid-January, just what a wonderful and pristine condition the HERD's current "home" out along Route Two is in?  ;D

    • With good weather, it could/should be ready for the 24 season. That said, I'd look for us to play mostly away games for the first half of the schedule. The whole complex may not be ready but I would say they'll be able to play games there. jmo

    • I'm excited about all of this. I'd love to see MU produce a consistent baseball program. Should be able to get some good looks/considerations from some ball players as this momentum continues to grow.

    • Well, with the world as it is, and probably still will be in another year, they can always use the tried and true "Supply chain issues" as an excuse if the Stadium isn't ready on time in 2024!!  :)

    I heard from a MU official that all conference games this year would be played in Charleston with the exception of 2 series. All non conference as usual played at the Deuce.
    Since the pro ball Charleston franchise doesn't begin play until June there are no conflicting dates

    • The High Point Rockers park was built in 15 months. That's from the first shovel of dirt to the first pitch. It can be done.
