Bust, so I can stay up to date...how many tickets sold to a mens Bb game constitutes a sell out?
Honestly, I'm not up to snuff; yet, I get texts/emails etc...asking me, and I don't know the true #. .

My question is will they open up some of the bleachers if the demand is there? Really can't see Marshall turning down revenue.

I think it's around 5500 now. They announced the sell out today. But all chairbacks upper and lower are sold.

Youth cheerleading day that is also sold out and by signing up received tickets, and Saturday is the day you can get picture with the bowl trophy?..both of those are always big draws.

Whatever you have to do to get people in the gate and used to coming.

Move by AD reducing seating capacity paying off?.make tickets more desirable?.just being able to say a game ?sold out? helps regardless of crowd size.

Will this be first sellout since the return of Donnie Jones when he brought UCF here for his first trip back to town??

Hopefully will play well Saturday and get some people to come back!!

All our MBB team, and our great MU basketball program needs to do is win and become competitive like days of old.. we can draw 8-10,000 fans if we are playing major college Thundering Herd Basketball...

It's great that the game is sold out.  It is also kinda sad that the Cam's seating capacity is now lower than the Field House's capacity was (5,500 compared to 6,500).

I like the new seating until we can draw 7-8k. It gets everyone compact and has a much better atmosphere to it.

It looks very nice, but The Great Marshall Thundering Herd should be drawing 7-8,000
For every game. This is what makes our area so great...We have Marshall, and yes,  it is a big deal...

I think they look great in the cam. Not so much in football. Spears made a great call with the tarps imo. Way better atmosphere. Get the AC in the cam and hopefully someday get heard Heaven chairbacks (new in entire arena including behind baskets in Kelly green).

In Morgantown they get it from their north east infusion, but at MU we have to recruit it. It's a full time job.,,
If we do not nor cannot get progressives on our campus we will become a University of idiots

Also they are doing a lot of painting and wall wraps inside the entrances of the cam. The east end entrance is looking really nice. It's amazing what a little paint, logos etc,,, can do. I'm really buying in to Spears vision and what he has done in such a short time. Glad we have an AD for all sports.

serious question...how are we gonna know if we can draw 7-8K if we're freezing ticket sales at 5500?  & for the record, i'm not anti-tarp...unless you've sold all 5500, then you need to open up a mid-court section on 1 side.  sell that 1, open up another, etc.

Let's not act like administration is stupid. If they see the demand is going to surpass 5500 easily then I'm sure they will open up a section. I o r that they are creating a great atmosphere and driving demand. They won't turn away revenue.

As to the first sell-out since Donnie (DJ) Jones's return, guess that all depends on whether ODU brings their own "Oompa Loompa"??  ;D
