Lady Herd softballers just didn?t have it today, losing a defensive struggle to Texas State at The Dot 3-0. Conference loss that could decimate their chances to catch ULA. Back again at 1:00 tomorrow,rain willing.

They'll likely have to win the league to get an NCAA bid.

This weekend is a good litmus test to see how good we really are in the SBC. Along with us Texas State, ULL, USA, Troy are all the top teams in the league. We need to win at least 2 out of 3 especially being at home.

I?d include South Alabama as they have captured 8 in a row to tie us for second and as a result of the 2 games postponed at Appy early, SA actually leads %wise.

Herd Ladies win number 40 today.  Need to win the series tomorrow.  Unfortunately, down in Atlanta, HERD baseball is about to be swept by GA State.  Doubt if they make it to the baseball tourney at season's end.
