I?ve said this about Danny in the past.  He loves Marshall but realizes his dreams are well?.just a dream.  He has a contract and money so why at his age would he move forward?  I don?t blame him one bit but I do question his superiors.  Our roster is a complete joke!  The administration should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this to happen to our beloved University.  I don?t even know why we have coaches on the bench because obviously they have their hands tied behind backs.  I mean who in their right mind would be ok with recruiting other than a guy getting ready to retire?

The SB was a step down in conference and that is fine if you take advantage of it. But we will become a worse program because of it instead of being the lead dog like we could have. Opportunity missed. Just watch us fade to 3-5 average over the next few years like we were in CUSA if changes aren't made.

Pete Moe looks to me like a really good prospect.  I believe he has been looked over and is a good pick up.  Maybe i am wrong, but a 6' 9" kid that has some handles, has a more physical body for a freshman, and that has a stroke from 3 point range seems to be something that could fit in our system well.  He will be a problem on the high ball screens because switching on the screen becomes a issue due to his shooting ability, and ability to drive.  I just started this post to say he committed to the herd and many of you guys just start talking negative.  I know some of you have no faith in DD at this point and i understand your frustrations.  That being said i wish you guys would understand that these kids read these message boards.  Lets just say this kid comes in and has a banger year for the Herd?  He has read all this crap (No offers, Slow, high school coach says he doesn't play "D",bla-bla-bla) that you guys spew..  We all hope he stays around for the long haul, and is loyal to our beloved herd.  Can we fault him when he seeks a better NIL deal with all the hate this bunch of bitching herd fans spew daily about new recruits?  Fine, i get it.  There are plenty of post bitching about DD.  Can't you keep your bitching over on these other DD blasting posts?  Nope you guys have to spill all your hateful $hit on a kid joining our program?  Be classy Herd fans!  At this point i can't tell the difference between WVU fans from MU fans!!!

I can appreciate your frustration. Anyone reading social media needs to take it with a grain of salt.

What I don't understand about this player is that only one school that recruited him out of high school (SIUE) stayed with him and offered him a scholarship after he finished a year of post graduate play. He had offers out of high school from Minnesota State; Robert Morris; Stetson and SIUE. Players do slip under the radar, but this player has actively used social media to promote himself and he ended up with less offers. I wonder why Donnie Jones didn't offer him again? Something doesn't add up about the situation.

Nothing personal against Moe or other recruits of the HERD.  But after 10 years, one could/should reasonably expect the OVERALL Caliber of MU's recruiting would have ramped up a notch or two.  Most schools who are serious about their programs and recruiting, usually put out press releases about their signees, which often include names of some other quality schools who were after said player(s).  But MU, well, we pretty much know that MU's Sports Information apparatus is pretty much a "S#*TSHOW". has been and continues to be, and that certainly isn't on Danny.  So we get another player who, apparently, but not stated, we beat out Rio Grande, UPike and half the Mountain East teams for his services.  Believe it was posted a while back that a couple of our fairly recent signees, last year or so, from Ohio, apparently drew LITTLE or NO Interest from MAC schools in that State!!  If so, it says VOLUMES about MU basketball, and NOT Positive VOLUMES!!

DD is not my "boy".  You are just annoying as hell!  I wish they would just fire DD for the simple fact that maybe, just maybe i wouldn't see your continuous bitching complaining posts.  Its like you are stuck in a time warp saying the same miserable things over and over again.  We get it..  DD sucks..  DD can't recruit.  Basketball team sucks.  Basketball in SBC sucks.  Over and over again!!!  It is so refreshing reading your posts.  You deliver your hate on a daily basis.  I can only imagine how fun it would be to a family member of yours.  Stuck at a holiday family party listing to you constantly bitching about random $hit.  I can hear it now.  "That burger taste like $hit.  Where did you get that meet from? Kroger's???? That's the problem you should have gotten the meet from Walmart.  Your spices suck too.  You should use McCormick spices...  The buns have the stupid seeds on them.."  On and on and onnnnnnnnn.

Thanks for the kind words. I'll try and come up with something positive about basketball if I can. I guess I expect a coach that will try and do the best they can instead of letting guys sit that he knows can't play. But maybe I can think of something positive.
