Figured he would have a tough time making the NBA. That's not a slam on Tavion. He was a special player for us. I'm sure he will work hard to try and advance. Thst's just the person he is.

His misuse two seasons ago did him no favors.  He has the talent and the numbers but they don't go back deep enough so he's considered a gamble.  As said, up to him to prove he is the player they want him to be.

I disagree on his 'misuse' affecting his opportunities.
1st, the issues that were exposed during that season would've been exposed anyway during his workouts or G-league combine games.
2nd, at his size if he'd excelled playing 'out of position' his stock would've risen.
