  • What we know is that we are not a very good team right now. That may change as the season goes on, but if there aren't some major improvements this team won't win 6 games.

  • Just a couple of notes - our punter averaged 50.3 yards per punt, not 31, with a long of 61.

Our kicker got the kicked blocked. His trajectory is too low. His extra points are only passing half way up the uprights and he?s going to end up getting those blocked too if he doesn?t adjust.

The new TE is going to be good and will be needed.

It doesn't matter but ESPN now say 41 avg, long of 46.  They did say 31 yesterday but it's just a mistake.

So I thought they said the only reason Cade played is because Toby Payne was out hurt, but I'd say Cade's gonna get some reps now either way.

  • Huff is too nice. He doesn't want to hurt anyone's feelings. How many coaches at this level act this way? Probably very few. Do we really want such a leader? Huff will leave here, but it won't be of his own volition. Every day is a day sooner that this will happen.

Huff probably is too nice by design. I believe I've heard him mention before that with the new transfer rules, recruiting can never stop even after the player commits, enrolls, and begins practice and play. It does seem to make sense.
