Topic: We hire National Championship Coaches

I don't know if it's ever been discussed directly but we have hired are last 4 coaches directly off a National Championship coaching staff.

Pruett was hired off of Spurriers Florida National Championship Staff
Snyder was hired off of Tressells Ohio State national championship staff
Holiday was hired off of urban Meyers Florida Championship staff
Huff was hired off of Nick Sabans Alabama Championship staff

Wasn't Donnan part of an Oklahoma staff that won it all?

Slight correction though, Doc Holliday actually left Florida after 2007 to return to be the associate head coach at WVU with Bill Stewart for two years before he got the Marshall job, so Doc didn't come directly from a national championship staff.

Florida didn't win a championship with Pruett, either. He left after they lost to Nebraska in the 95 (Jan. 96) Fiesta Bowl.

Florida won in 2006 and Doc was on the staff.   I'm not saying we directly hired them right off a Championship.  I'm saying they were all members of a national championship staff and team.

I remembered wrong about Pruett they won it the year after he left, but Pruett won a National Championship so he's a national championship coach on his own.

I'm a dum&^$r*(.  I meant they were on a national championship staff then the next job they took was our coach.    But, you are right either way.   I meant they were part of a Championship staff then came to us next that's all.
