from what i've seen, i think he's the kind of personality/player that is a big play/big mistake guy.  higher risk, higher reward.  which one is it going to be?

but more to the point, Huff may be trying to satisfy as many players as he can, by being as fair as possible with playing time.  will that portal monster 'tame out' a little bit?  it appears many of his less experienced recruits might be fairly talented.

It looked to me like Montgomery got injured against either ECU or VT.  Looked like a lower leg injury.  He came off the field favoring one leg.  It could be something or it could be nothing, but that may explain why he hasn't appeared or recorded any stats of late.

Hard to know since Huff doesn't give an injury report.

I swear I saw him on the sideline limping during the VT game. Then later we threw a deep pass to him that fell incomplete. He played a little against ODU, too. No clue what the deal is. I like Coombs and Pierce though.

To add more to the Chuck Montgomery mystery...  He is not listed on HerdZone as having participated in any of the games this season.  He is listed in the "Individual" and "Game-by-Game" stats, but his name is not listed in the game "Participation" stats.  It could be a mistake by the person that keeps the stats up to date on HerdZone or it could be part of the conspiracy to keep opposing coaches from knowing how many games he has participated in and whether he is injured (missed games).
