  • Given that the teams only have a three day turn around between the first and second game and have traveled to the host city I see some sense in having the teams stay put and play the second round game in the same place rather than having to relocate during the short turn around time.  It's probably easier to make lodging arrangements for the whole week than it is to move on short notice and locate lodging, move team equipment and plan for a game.

    Most soccer teams aren't going to get to fly charter.
