And JMU has hired Bob Chesney from Holy Cross to replace Curt Cignetti as its Head Football Coach.  Chesney, 46, has a solid record, 14 years as a HC with an overall 111-46 record, including 5 straight conference championships at Holy Cross in a FCS League, the Patriot.  Appears to be a solid hire at this point for one of the stronger programs in the SBC East Division.

He is probably a great coach, I lived two miles from Lafayette College for a decade (albeit a long time ago) and went to many Patriot League games, worst level of play in FCS / D1 in my opinion. I know it has improved, but winning in that league isn't like winning at the D1 level at all (IMHO).
