Is Herdmeister still a part of this group? I haven't seen any posts from him lately. I always enjoyed his comments. He was always respectful of others. I appreciate that about many in this group.

I don't see this miracle coming to pass.  I haven't talked to him in a while but I would imagine he's pretty upset with the coaching change.  But he'll be very supportive of Corny, imo.  He's just that guy.  I'm sure they have a good relationship after all the stuff 'Meister does for the team and Corny was part of that.

I don't know if this is why he left the board, but he took a pretty good beating for sticking up for DD. He also took a lot of hits with his practice reports.

I pretty sure he said on the Benefactors board something to the effect of he was tired of the negative attitudes and arguing.  The guy went out of his way to give us insight in what was going on and people were rude to him. 

This just my opinion but this board should be a community.  We should be friends, friendly and welcoming.   We should be positive and supportive to one another and to Marshall. 

I think people hide behind their anonymous screen names and get on here and spew disrespect and people get tired of it and leave.

Don't disagree to a point.  But it was becoming PAINFULLY obvious to a large number on this board, aside from those who were either close to Coach D'Antoni, swayed by his personable likeability, upbeat demeanor, etc., etc., that approaching nearly a DECADE at the helm it was just "time for him to go"!!  Expressions on both sides appearing on this board often did get too personal, became    too often just "attacks" on individual posters, etc.  Appreciated many posts by Herdmeister even if i didn't agree with them at times.  This is a Fan Board with a variety of fans with a broad range of opinions.  It isn't, I hope, a place that should reflect the "chilling" suppression of "opinions" that the World saw in Nazi Germany, or which no doubt exists in places like Russia, China, etc., today!!

The key to a successful discussion is to stay away from personal attacks.  This is the forum to be able to disagree and discuss Herd sports.  Also, need to be able to take a little ribbing every now and then also.

I like the back and forth and have changed my opinion on things when someone presents a good argument against my original thoughts.

A lot of people confuse government first amendment free of speech with private property.  This is a private board we have no rights to say anything and everything we want. 

When WVU fans hit the board and get nasty and do things like mock of our plane crash, they get ejected immediately. It?s not Nazi Germany when they get axed, because this is a Marshall board for people who love and support Marshall and they serve no purpose being on here, acting like pr!cks.

Wolf is incredibly kind and tolerant of pompous jacka$$es that claim to be Marshall fans and gives them more than ample warning and opportunities to change their behaviors.

A lot of people confuse this board as their own personal playground to spew negativity, insult people, act like tough guys and superior know-it-alls.   I m quite sure that was never the intention of the board. 

Thank god for guys like Econ, Big-green-arms, Big City, Wolf, Partial, Banker, chris88 and a few more that I can?t think of at the moment because they post informative, intelligent content and start good conversations.

It?s an absolute shame guys like ought 3, meister, ZackUSA and others left the board.

But, Wolf has no obligation to any of us.

This just my opinion if all you do is complain, bitch. moan, argue the same dam arguments a 1000 times, endlessly attack everyone who?s opinion differs from you, you never say anything good about Marshall or anyone associated with Marshall, use the board for the reasons stated in the previous paragraph and never start a decent respectful conversation or make a sound discussion point.

You serve no purpose being on here and you make no worthwhile contribution, but to make the board a miserable negative place

To my knowledge, I have never met one person within this group that I enjoy reading. I have NOTHING at all to say negative about Herdmeister!!! I miss his posts and very much wish he would return to posting.
