Newspapers are a victim of change and new technology. Older people will remember afternoon or evening newspaper which disappeared with radio and TV news. Change is constant; there was the Poney Express; then telegraphs; then telephones. Only a few newspapers are surviving and most of them are treading water.
This is hard for seniors who like to hold a product in their hands. Newspapers are becoming a relic of the bygone era. I will admit I miss the in dept reporting of newspapers; but real journalism has stopped and social media and the internet are now sources of news. The legacy/corporate media are also in trouble since they gave up true journalism?
