  • If our AD called SMU's AD and they agreed both schools wanted to move up the soccer game by 2 hours, how realistic is it the NCAA would agree?
Both schools are also playing for their conference football championships Saturday night.

Counterpoint: A larger number of SMU fans that would go cheer on a team to the College Cup may now stay home to watch football rather than create a home crowd advantage.

If it were a home game, I understand why we would want to move it.  As the road team, I'd rather SMU's crowd be dampened.

  • SMU only averages about 1200 in a 2500-seat stadium.  Maybe they'll get 2,000 this Saturday.
Wouldn't think the noise/atmosphere would be enough that our team would even notice.
