With Ernie gone, Chuck retiring and Doug Creasy heading to greener pastures, I hope the HD can find and afford replacements.

I love a good local sports columnist. Some of Ernie's and Chuck's best work were after semi-retirement and each did a weekly column.

I bought the Saturday paper just to read Ernie's column.
