I have no knowledge, but I wonder how the Penningtons are going to support 2 sons, that play in Dayton Ohio and Vermillion, South Dakota. South Dakota is like a 6 hour flight, more with layovers and a 20 hour drive away.
What? Flying time from Charleston, WV to Sioux Falls, SD ? 2 hours, 14 minutes . The actual flight with a stop is 4 hrs and 45 minutes and costs $269. That's pretty easy. Going from Cincy near Dayton is probably no stop and 30 minutes less flight time. I used to fly to Alaska in 7 hours air time.He can probably afford a charter jet point to point in a couple hours.
Huffy didn't reign Chad in and use him like he should have. Surprised? If I knew where he lived, I'd dispatch him a load of coal for Christmas. I saw Huffy in the downtown post offce, twittering around. I asked him when he was going to start using Chad's boy? He didn't even look up from the screen and said, "Look for him the Fifth game." That was exactly when he threw him to the wolves. Now he's a jack rabbit? Don't laugh -- they have a good program out there!
Are there any hard feeling with Marshall and Chad? With Cole transferring and I believe he had already given up in skybox. I am not speculating just wondering. Was he a Huff guy and has his side of the story or is it just maybe Chad is focused on being a championship coach and Cole transferred to be the QB of a top FCS team?
They gave Cole a spot on the team, gave him some starts and some cleanups. He had ample opportunity to be the guy. I mean taking over for Fancher was his easiest route to the position but he wasn't really close to a healthy Fancher. I don't know why Chad would be upset. It was up to Cole to make the most of his opportunities. He looked more polished this year but was clearly behind the other two.
If Marshall fans had their way Cole would've been a 4 year starter and probably turned out better than his dad. It's a shame he was not given a fair shot.
