    It didn't take long for UAB head football coach Watson Brown to point a finger of blame for Saturday night's 31-24 Conference USA loss to Marshall at Legion Field.

    He pointed to himself.

    "Don't you dare take a shot at a kid or anything," said Brown. "I'm telling you. Don't take a shot at (an assistant) coach. It starts with the man at the top and right now it's not good."

    • stand up guy?  for some around here, taking blame means you should lose your job.  i like the stand up guy angle better.
