TV miscue?

  • Did anyone besides me catch the TV mess up?....after we clanked the field goal and the station went to break you could still hear the feed from the broadcasters, the one guy was like man you have to make that fieldgoal.

  • Yeah,  he was like you have to make that chip shot...and started to say something else then was cut off, wish I could of heard what he said.

  • That was Dave Weekly, who worked for WCHS in Charleston as their Sprots anchor for 10+ yrs.

  • The Pizza Oven in Pinellas Park, Florida picked up the satellite feed, without the commercials. The banter during the commerical breaks is always entertaining.

    Does the picture stay live also? My friend had one of the old UFO satellites and they would keep the feed live during the timeouts. It was always nice to see what some of the cameramen would zoom in on, or down, or even up!

  • The screen went blank during the commercial breaks, but the audio stayed live.
