  • That was a very good game.  Had very little mistakes. Two interceptions and only 5 penalties.
The o-line is dominating the d-line day in and day out. Amazing we as a team are putting up the rushing numbers like we are.
The receivers showed up today. Wow Spann made two great catches. And Matt Morris found a way to get open today.
Bradshaw ran hard today and should get drafted to the NFL.
The secondary played well today. Really grew up today. J.J made a great pick at a time when we needed it. The coverage seemed a little tighter.  The seconday played with a lot more emotion today.
The LB core. I stated at the beginning of the yr. that this could be our best ever at MU, and last night they showed it.  The LB's where all over the feild making plays.
The D-line is special.  Last night they finished the game. Got pressure on the QB and Shaver Greer along with Thorton getting the sack on 4th down.
The only thing I was unhappy about is Slate not getting the ball, but he must have been blocking very well last night.
Will Albin cant say enough about how well he blocked last night. Really opened up holes and sealed guys off.

Overall great game and great win. Gives us something to build on. Really had some good positives in there that the team can take into Memphis.

Oh and the QB did a great job. Way to go Skinner coming in like he did and making some terrific throws.

  • skinner did an adequate job, that's what you want from your back up.  i thought our wrs made terrific grabs (particularly spann) verses skinner making teriffic throws.  but, it does take two and he put the ball out there to allow the wr to make a play.  and the bad thing, that interception came at a critical time.  set us up for a possible loss in OT.  thank goodness the D stepped up and made the stop.

  • I wish the D would play every game like that,. I mean there were at least
3 MARSHALL guys on ever tackle. To Curtis Keyes that's the way to wrap up the ball carrier you looked great last night.
