Chad Pennington hosts fund-raiser in Huntington

HUNTINGTON -- Chad Pennington and Brian Miller got what they wanted Thursday night at the inaugural 1st And 10 Foundation Celebrity Bowl at Strike Zone Bowling Center in Eastern Heights Shopping Center.

"People say Huntington is a small place on the map. They don’t realize how big their heart is," Pennington, quarterback for the New York Jets, said while mingling with the fans in the packed 24-lane center. "Tonight it shows. The community has embraced this. They understand we’re doing it for the right reasons."

"A great experience," said Miller, whose mother, Debbie, was bowling on the same pair of lanes. "It’s great to meet the pro football players. They’re role models for me. It’s a great thing Chad’s doing."
