The Campaign for National Prominence is piggybacked by several more specific programs, Thunders. They do this so they don't have to keep adding overhead to manage donations that are given to the university.
Just yesterday I received my yearly letter from Joe Gillette, president of the Thunder Club (which falls under the CfNP btw).
He stated that we have already raised over $100M this year. The projects targeted for our donations this year will be:
Baseball stadium
Wellness Center
Parking Garage(?) (I'm trying to recall from a very poor memory)
Evidently, for those with blind faith, this means that the IPF, the Shewey upgrade and the new turf are already a given. For those that are more inquisitive, we are hoping that Verna can come through with the missing money.
What I like about the Thunder Club is that Joe stated that he is compiling a financial statement identifying where the money has gone and he says that TC members will have more of a say as to the additional benefits that are given to the coaches.
