  • Maybe sooner.
    That Frye kid is special.

Had he went to Marshall, we would have been ranked maybe undefeated and he would have been a 1st round draft pick.

He is a legit NFL star QB in the making.

    Browns got a steal.
The question is..."Do they even know what they got?"
    IT'S TAILGATING SEASON!

I disagree.  Had he gone to Marshall, his value would have dropped like a lead balloon because he'd have been running for his life behind the same offensive line that lead to Stan and Graham's downfall.

  • I don't know about Frye.  I seen his passes in the Senior bowl and they were all wobbly and looked like crap. No zip on the ball and not a strong arm at all.  In Cleveland with that wind off the lake I am not sure he will do well. I think they should have trades up and got Rogers.  I hope he does good but I am not for sure.

I thought everyone said his stock went UP after they saw him in the Senior Bowl?

  • He was MVP of senior bowl but his passes were crappy.  They made it to the endzone but there was not tight spiral to it.  Wobbled a lot and had not zip.  Just my impression.  Even the game against Marshall that last pass in the back of the endzone was crap.  He just threw it up and got lucky.

  • I like Fryes chances in the NFL.  The key is not to rush him.  Let him learn for 2 years and he will be fine.  Not as good as MUs NFL QB but a very productive QB.

I have to agree with DJ about Frye playing with MU.  Marshall would have a better team with him at the helm!  IMO, he displays a better mental toughness than Hill.  Those sacks wouldn't bother him on the next play like it affected Hill at times last year.  However, he still would not have been drafted in the 1st round!  But his college career would have been better and MUs record would have been better!
