Well, I am talking about WVU being rejected by Penn State , tOSu, and other teams, but still want to act like a bad guy with The University. He has hung around the board today, but did not post. My question is what do you think? Do you think that is a good thing, or do you think that is a bad thing?

Yes, they have very definetly been rejected by Penn State.

I, will just say this, I am sorry that we fellow West Virginians have to disregard one another, who are important under God, and attack each other in a community we all should be friends to friends. I, personally don't understand how you could have such hate in your heart. Heck, I know we have been done dirty, but I still can't get on this level. Maybe I will someday, but I pray to God that I never will.

I don't believe I've shown any hate toward anyone on this forum or any other for that matter.  While I may have defended WVU when you all got were crying over $100,000 WVU gets for the Rifle Team, I never said MU shouldn't be using tax dollars for athletics nor put them down for doing so.  Those are University Decisions.  Each school gets what they get, how they spend it is their concern not mine.  MU chooses to, WVU doesnt, it their choice.  If either changed their mind it would neither save me nor cost me a cent.  

I have not said that MU and WVU should or shouldn't play.   As a citizen of WV its really of no concern to me as I see it as a business deal to be made by each schools administration.  I assume that both sides know what they can make from the other and what they can make elsewhere.  If they can make a deal they will and if not they'll move on.  You can argue its good for the state, I won't buy it and I won't argue it with you.

Well to be concise. Penn State said we have been approached by several  big east schools who we have previously played us in football about renewing a series with them. We, at this time would not be in a position to begin talks with WVU, or the University of Pittsburgh. However, we have been in talks with Syracuse University. At this time, it looks as if we may be working towards a new series with them.  We, being able to renew our relationship with Syracuse, is something that we both have been working towards for some time.

Well, You can believe me or not, but I am trying to be honest with you. I came across this approx. 24 hours ago surfing the web. I picked it up at either a PSU site, a Pitt site, an ECU site, or the bigeastboards site. But, I very definetly did read it about 2:00 a.m. 2 May, 2005. I, do apoligize for not having the site, but I was after other material when I came across it, and it just did not occur to me that it would become this big of a deal. I, may come across it again, and if I do I will see that you get the site. I, apoligize for this lack of credibility on my part. I, however have been honest with you, I generally don't post if I don't have a source, and I had one for this post, but will try to find that link again for you. If you are truly a panther fan I certainly have no personal animosity towards you. IF you are a WVU imposter I still feel the same way, but do find that to be somewhat disingenious. Nevertheless, best wishes to you, I saw you on the board today, but never posting, and that is why I called you out this evening. It was not nearly as personal, as you might think. It was however, my personality becoming active.

p.s. After racking my brain about the post we previously discussed, it may have been on a Syracuse board. The part of WVU, and Pitt were one post, and the Syracuse statement was on a different post. It was a post from the Athletic administration, not just a fellow poster. The poster seemed to be speaking on behalf of PSU, but it seems like it was quoted on a Syracuse site.
