  • I remember about 25 years ago Sonny Randall did a TV commercial saying the theme for the year was "Get it Done in 81."

I remember the joke was the next two themes were "Get it Done in 82" and "Get it Done in 83."

I worry that we're looking at "Get it Done in 2013."
"On rainy days, the early justices would enliven case conferences with wine. On other days, even if the sun was shining, Chief Justice John Marshall would order wine anyway, saying, 'Our jurisdiction is so vast that it must be raining somewhere.' "

  • Never saw the commercial.

    But...

    Thats exactly how I feel.

People said the same thing last year they are saying this year as far as the excuses go.  Last year, it was wait till his recruits get here.  Lately this year, its been the injuries on Defense have hurt and we are playing young guys on Defense, wait till next year.  Never mind the D gave up 24 points, but the Offense can't muster up but 21 points.

Same results, different excuses will lead to same results and same excuses as the year before.

  • I thought Sonny's team were fundamental they just lacked somethat on the talent end of things.  However I  sure would like to have a Larry Fourqueen in the backfield right now and Carl Lee at corner.
