Coach, yours was a thank-less job, given the greater context. I was admittedly one of your major detractors on this board back when the head coaching decision was being made. Without regard to who was to blame for what, I'd just like to thank you for your class that has shown through even the bitter end. It says a lot about your character that you were given the opportunity to say whatever you wanted to say on the way out, but that you didn't take the bait. You and your family have been associated with the Herd for many years more than is ever typical for an assistant. Best wishes to you -- and to your daughters who will join others of us as Marshall alums in the so-called real world.

def coordinators throughout conf usa will now have to watch film and study-up before they play us...

i do give you props for actually throwing a pass with a fb (parkhurst) on the field in our last game. i think i saw the uab DC drop his headset in confusion.

We are in deep sh*t if Mark Snyder has been given the reigns in the decission department. The program is going down to the very bottom and KO should have his head taken off for it. Im making a prediction now and saying that we will not win no more than 4 ball games next year. The excusses will be flying all over about how we have a qb without experience ... the new coaching staff needs to get settled in before we can make any judgement calls. The list will go on and on next year ... bottom line folks ... just as everyone has said on here ... we need to give him 3-4 years before we make judgement ...
