We all know who the best team in the nation was in 2007: LSU.

Or do we? Let's not go there.

I have a more vexing query: What were the worst teams of 2007?
Today is your lucky day! Here is my official "Terrible 20," the worst of the worst who made Saturdays a little sadder last fall.

When I read the sunject head I thought for sure that Marshall would be in the list. But I am sure glad to see they didn't make this one.

With the Herd's record they had to be close to making this list. All the 07 squad had to do was win a few of the games they were "in" along with the games they "should win" and they would have been .500 or better

Memphis
Tulsa
Houston
Southern Miss

I still cant get over the debacle at the end of the Memphis game. Its the silly stuff that happens in those games that really kills the overall record.
Kansas State- int with the chance to put it away
UCF- one point loss, letting FUC drive the field to win it
Southern Miss- kicking, kicking, kicking
Memphis- WTF?!

Stuff like that gets you on the worst list.

Could have easily been 7-5, but we ended up 3-9. Poor decision making.
