  • If you believe that story about the #1 freak from miami oh, then you've got a bag of sand for a brain.  Anybody that has lifted knows damn well that is impossible for someone his size to do what they say.  Impossible.

  • Didn't the rhawks have a RB named  Rob Carpenter in the mid 70's; i think he was on the rhawk's team that was upset by The Herd at Fairfield .
The time the ABC college game report kept wanting to know if the 21-16 score was a typing error??
I guess Bobby's dad didn't want his son to make the mistake by signing with his old college???

"9. Bobby Carpenter, LB, Ohio State: The son of former New York Giants back Rob Carpenter, Bobby is every bit the athlete Butkus front-runner A.J. Hawk is. He just hasn't been quite as impressive on the field yet. But he's close, and his workout numbers already have NFL scouts drooling, clocking a 4.52 40 at 256 pounds."

  • Yes, that's the same guy.  Rob Carpenter is the head coach at Lancaster High and coached his son prior to shipping him to tOSU.

Dad went to Miami, Oh prior to playing for the Giants and a couple of other NFL teams.  Decent pro running back.

  • is more believable than the 4.3 forty...I would bet that he runs over 4.4(if he weighs 235 or more) at the combine. Moss ran 4.37 when the scouts were at Herd Heaven.

The long snapper we sent to the Rams two yrs ago was the strongest guy on our team at 6'0 230 and benched 500.
