OK, I know I bash Smock....

  • but on this occasion I must extend my props.  He did a wonderful job on an article about recruiting classes past.  I think he could have went a little deeper in years only because I was wrapped up in reading the article and wanted more.  

      By the way, I do not purchase the paper; a co-worker let me read his after he left.  Trust me, I'm a lot harder to sway than one article.  Anthony has done a very good job for the HD, but this just shows what Smock is truly capable of when he wants.

      I didn't look for it on the web, but it was about our oline of last year.

  • not bad for smuck.  but, even though his job is to cover herd sports......he still couldn't get it all right.

    Gladstone Coke was not and experiment, as I recall we moved him to RB because we just ran out of backs due to injury.  And, when the "experiment" was over he didn't return to CB.  I don't recall him ever being a CB.  He was kind of lb/safety in the 4/4.
