The Republicans have controlled the White House for the last eight years and the Congress for 6 of the last 8. For the less than two years the Democratic have controlled the Legislature the most they have been able to do is slow down the White House due to their inability to override vetos.  The Republicans have done everything they can to destroy every regulation that exists to protect individuals from corporate greed. For you to lay the blame for the current crises solely at the feet of the Democratic Party is even stupider than your bazaar economic claims in the first paragraph.

Seriously, I think the problem lies with everyone in Washington.
Every politician has had some kind of hand in this.

Think about it. If you are a wealthy individual with inside knowledge on how the housing market would triple/quadruple your investment in a short period of time, you are gonna take that sure bet.
I think they all got greedy and thought they could make money off people with bad credit.

It is just amazing that they really thought that they could all get away with it.

I also said that gas would mysteriously fall back down to around 2$ a gallon right before election time. And it is happening now.

The most interesting part of the economic problems which you will hear virtually nothing about is the fact that of the mortgages which are being foreclosed, HUD recently stated that about 5 million of them were held fraudulently by illegal immigrants/  crooks who obtained them with false information.  HUD is now scrambling to say the initial report wasn't accurate, but I won't believe them until they release actual data. 

Thank the Feds for creating rules which discouraged banks from completing verfification of ID, SS#, income, etc.

- Louis Farrakhan who has marked himself a notable figure on the extremist scene by making hateful statements targeting Jews, whites and homosexuals referred to Obama as the Messiah.

-Barack Obama's pastor for more than 20+ years says blacks should not sing "God Bless America" but "%^&* America." Nice influence there huh?

-Barack's campaign contributed over $800,000 to ACORN! A company to is openly and encouraging voter registration fraud.

These are the reasons why I will not vote for Barack! Sorry to hurt your feeling there DJ, but it has nothing to do with him being black. So maybe before you go out and start making passive statements about people being racists and why they will not vote for Obama, maybe you could do a little research for yourself and see just how dangerous this guy really is!

I don't like the "if you don't vote for the black guy, you're racist" argument either.  DJ, it does sound like reverse racism to me as well, if you think that I'm that shallow because I'm white. 

My wife and I go to a black church (The Abundant Life Ministries" on the East End and though several folks are going to vote for Obama solely because he's black, there are some that aren't.   And I expect no one in the congregation to call me racist if I don't.  We are loved there, even though we are white.

To paint racists with a broad brush is errant, let alone short-sighted and menial.  You have to know someone to know if they are real.

That said,

I watched on Fox where a Black guy broke down Obama's tax "breaks".

Barack says his plan will give tax breaks to 95% of Americans but 40% of Americans pay no taxes.  Zero.  You can't give a tax break to folks that don't pay taxes.

So, it's not a tax break, because all folks that live in the US are eligible.  That's right.  Illegals can cash in on this "tax break" as well.  But illegals don't file taxes.  How can this be?

Well, under this plan, tax (let's call them credits for now) can be filed for separately, just like earned income.

But EI is an entittlement.  A giveaway.  What???

Yes.  So now it is no longer a tax break nor a tax credit.  It's welfare.

How much?  If a person qualifies for all of if, up to $10,000.  That means if every one files for maximum credits, nearly 60% of the country will not only pay ZERO taxes, the rest will actually PAY them for using our roads, our schools, our housing and just living in our country.  And we will pay you, even if you don't pledge loyalty to our country. 

Sounds like we really need to entice people to come live here, huh?

How much will it cost?  Nearly $1 TRILLION dollars.  I believe that is enough money that if you placed dollar bills end-to-end, it would stretch from NYC to Los Angeles over 31,000 times.

Welcome to America.  We will pay you to come here.

I think what alot of people on here forget is that I am half white. I have a white dad who lives in a deep white area and I know what is being said in that world.
Is it a reflection of all white people in general? No but it surely isn't just one place this is taking place. I have been a white boy before in growing up and I know how the majority feel. It may be on the surface a whole different thing than underneath the skin.
I have seen how people act with people of color.

Fact is this: For every thing you say about people voting for Barack I can say the same thing in how people voting for McCain.

YES.....people will vote for Brack because he is black.
and.........
YES people will not vote for Barack because he is black.

One thing you must consider is that "tripe" from from individuals like Rush is t hat they are backed up with credible references. Those references are usually listed at the end of each of those articles. Next time read the articles and then follow up with this references that are provided.
