  • The Big Green mtg this week was only to discuss the foundations investments in the stock market and where to invest next. That is all. The BG does not supplement coaches salaries, the Thunder Club does and the MU Foundation does as well.

  • This is correct.  The meeting was a Big Green Exec. meeting to discuss the performance of the $5,000,000 Scholarship Fund (endowment).  Trust me.

  • Might be time for a little remedial course for some posters on what the Big Green actually does and where it's money goes.

Maybe that's why the membership is so low relative to alumni?  most don't know what it does.

Or what is left of the endowment given current market conditions.  That makes more sense. I know the Foundation has had meetings as well.  There is a lot of concern about the investments for both foundations, as there should be.
