I heard today that the basketball staff is very confident that both Kane and Whitesides will be cleared to play this year for the Herd.  The staff is very excited about Kane.  He is extremely good from all indications.

We are going to be a really deep team next year.

However, I worry we might not have the "star" power to be really good. We need 1 or 2 guys to step up and be leaders and go-to-guys.

Anything less than a post-season bid is a failure.

Great to hear bball news this time of year . I just hope people give the new guys time to develope and not expect to much to soon.  All these guys look good on paper but coming together as a team and everyone knowing their roles will determine the amount of wins . My opinion is Kane will be the one that impresses the most , Whiteside is still comng around . All in all , it could be a very good year .
